Emotional Ingenuity (also called emotional intelligence or EI or EQ), is the ability to be aware of and to manage emotions and relationships. It’s a pivotal factor in personal and professional success. IQ (a measure of intelligence) and skill will get you in the door, but it is your EI, your ability to connect with others and manage the emotions of yourself and others, that will determine how successful you are in life.
A major goal of this workshop is to help you understand the impact your communication skills have on other people. You will also explore how improving these skills can make it easier for you to get along in the workplace, and in life.
At some point or another, we’ve all worried about what someone else is going to think of something we do or say. It’s natural, and in part, it stems from our “lizard brain”—that part of the brain we all have that is primitive and is there to keep us safe. We don’t want to make a mistake that gets us in trouble with other people. We don’t want to say something that offends. We would rather “take flight” and avoid doing anything risky, than “fight” by saying or acting how we actually feel. The problem is… many people live their lives solely based on what other people might think if they do or say something. This workshop is meant to help you break free from what other people think of you and get you focused on what you want most in your life.
We all have things we want in life. The route to success is to take the things that we dream about and wish for and turn them into reality. This workshop will lead participants through thinking, planning, and taking action on the things they really want. Participants will decide what they want to work toward and create a vision board to represent their goals.
A half or full day of fun team building activities for members, leadership, and staff to come together to get to know each other better in a non-threatening environment. While the activities are fun they each have a real life application that will support the ongoing growth of the team.
Self-leadership requires a commitment from individuals to decide what they want from life and to do what’s necessary to get the results they want. This one-day workshop will help participants internalize the four pillars of self-leadership and to make meaningful, empowered choices while taking action to get where they want to go.
The Color Code is the most revolutionary and ACCURATE measurement of your personality available on the market today. Once you have learned the Color Code you will never see yourself or others the same again! The Color Code is your best bet for understanding how to make sense out of life's relationship puzzles.
The Character Code picks up where the Color Code leaves off and is all about overcoming your limitations so that you can be an even more effective leader. In addition, it includes a 360 assessment, which means you will need to get feedback from other people. This will help you get a full view of how your motivation and actions are affecting your current relationships.
Participants will participate in activities designed to kick start their own self care practice. We will learn about how to stretch (beginner yoga), basic fitness, healthy eating on a budget, positive affirmations and other mind, body, soul activities.
Have you ever wondered why some people act the way they do? Have you ever had ques6ons about your own behavior? If you’re like most people, the answer to both these ques6ons is yes. We’ve all seen people do seemingly crazy things, stuff that is most definitely not in their best interest. And, if we’re being honest, we’re all guilty of behaviors that probably aren’t the best for us in the long term. In other words, there’s room for improvement in all of us. The problem is that in order to improve ourselves by stopping or limi6ng nega6ve behaviors, we first have to understand what’s causing those behaviors to begin with.
When you see someone who seems very self-confident, do you wonder what that person has that you don't have? Have you ever put off doing something you really want to do -- writing a book or asking an appealing person out -- until you feel better about yourself? Are you successful in some ways but underneath still feel that you could be stronger and feel more confident? This workshop will help you increase your self confidence.
